The conversation continues on the issue of homelessness in downtown Macon at Pastor Keith Watson’s blog.  Pastor Keith leads New City Church downtown that meets in the heart of downtown at the Cox Capitol Theatre.

Editor Brad Evans recently started “a series on homelessness, vagrants, and downtown commerce.”  He does a great job of introducing the complex layers of this systemic issue.  Brad writes as a reporter and as a downtown business owner so it is well worth the read.  Check it out!

I recently read a blog post at Pastor Keith Watson’s blog touching on the topic of the homeless vs. the business owner.  While the post was a simple question that he had posed during a meeting – the comments to his question are thought provoking and insightful.  I’m sure we will be hearing more from Pastor Keith and his blog readers on this issue.
